Azure Shine "New" 2004 Geosat pro 90 cm. Satellite Dish
Since our last review of the old Azure Shine 90 cm.dish, Azure Shine has radically changed their design for the much better.

On my first inspection of the box I was impressed with the density of the cardboard along with the 20 or so staples neatly holding it together. After popping out the staples I was amazed an overseas company was using Styrofoam to protect the dish, although the dish was not totally incased, most of it was protected from our illustrious USA shippers from doing damage to it. Everything was neatly packed in its two foam sections.

When I went to pick up the dish out of the box I said to myself WOW they doubled the thickness of the metal, I wish I had my friends micrometer calipers to check it but I was pretty darn close to my assumption. The pipe for the universal mount was also beefed up and uses maybe triple the thickness of the old version. The baked enamel finish is 200 % better too.

I have a section of my hardwood floor which is just about perfectly flat and the dish did not wobble face down. If seem a little stupid to do, but you should see how warped some of these other dishes are.
