As you can see from the above picture how nicely the accessory parts are protected. Also the dishes edges are mostly protected from any dropping.

| This is a big difference from the previous model. Now you can plumb the main pipe & base plate then work on the 2 struts for the additional support. You can bend the tabs on the two legs to better conform to where you are going to attach them, screw the legs down and then tighten the pipe clamp with the teeth as to not change the alignment of the pipes plumbness. The base plate is very versatile since you have the pivot point and the two lock down bolts. If you need to trick out the mount to target a satellite lower than 15 degrees then just use the pivot bolt with the two support legs and tilt the top of the pipe 10 degrees forward in the direction of the satellite. Now you have a dish that can have a new minimum look angle of 5 degrees ! ( 15 for the dish minus the 10 that you tricked the mount to. ) |
