Quality: I heard from a friend in DK in Baltimore, MD that the Pal to NTSC conversion was perfect and sure enough it was. There was no jumping or jitters and no distortion to the picture. Targeting Atlantic satellites are a true test for any receiver. With their weak signals and the ability of the receiver to lock the signal in and when the signal get so low if the receiver will not lock up and have to do a power off reset.
Tip: The power led will flash if the receiver looses a digital lock on the frequency it is using.
Picture quality: was the clearest I have seen yet, nice and crisp.
Best on the market yet: I really like this receiver and as far as I am concerned I would take the 2300B any day over the BEC2000.
Pitfalls: Really not much, I would have liked to see a smaller box design, it has too much wasted space and It would be nice to have a meter like the DMT-1050 for the installers with 9 inch TV's on the roof.
