This remote has a drastic design change to all the others I am used to especially the menu, last, exit, page down, and page up. It took me almost a month to perfect my maneuvering while in the dark room. Less face it all the other receivers basically use a standard remote which are probably made by the same contractor
What's nice is the signal button which gives you a large on screen meter which is great when working with a 9 inch black & white TV during installation. F1,F2,and F3 are not functional or programable and there is no reference to them in the manual.
