Traxis DBS2500?: This latest receiver comes to the USA via the UK. This unit is a inexpensive to purchase, and is a good starter unit. The first units introduced were not software upgradable, the next batch some of the units had audio problems after being in the field for a month. The audio problem was easily fixed by the dealer or distributor.
Jitters: While the first 2 batches to hit the USA the units had screen jitter in the user setup menu this problem was not apparent in the main screen menu channel selection. With the latest software being released it takes care of all of the jitter problem.
The Contents: Receiver, new style remote, RCA cables and batteries
Games: The receiver comes with 3 games, and many manufacturers are including games but please give me a break. Some of these games that the companies include give me flash backs from back in the 1970's. Who would even play these when you have playstation , xbox, and nintendo.
Where it Shine: The PAL to NTSC conversion is excellent, better than any Coship or Fortec or Pansat. Most receivers have a 6 minute problem, during the first 6 minutes lip sync progressively gets worse and then at the 6 minute mark there is a screen blink for a second, then the problem starts all over again.
